Teacher Bio

David Gardea (Rancho): teaches drums & percussion, guitar, bass, music theory, and music production. He spent time studying at Chaffey College and earned an Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts and Music Performance. He has won several awards—one of them being the Reno Jazz Festival Champion. He produces music, is a recording artist, and also a songwriter. His work has led him to collaborate and perform with many world-renowned musicians and artists including Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas. His vast history in the music industry has made him a skilled musician who can play and teach any genre ranging from jazz to metal to reggae. He has more than a decade of teaching experience which includes working with mentally- and physically-disabled children and adults. He welcomes both beginner and advanced students. He is available for lessons Monday through Friday at our Rancho Cucamonga store.
