Teacher Bio

Akira Harrison (Glendora): Teaches electric and acoustic guitar on Saturdays from 10:00am-1:30pm. He has been teaching for over 10 years and playing for over 20 years. He graduated from Musician’s Institute Hollywood and holds a GPP certificate as well as an AA in Guitar Performance from GIT. He specializes in rock, jazz, funk, fusion, and R&B. He has studied with Ross Bolton, Dan Gilbert, Scott Henderson, Paul Gilbert, Allen Hinds, Bill LaFleur, Dave Hill, and Carl Verheyen.
