Teacher Bio

Craig Durst (Glendora): Teaches saxophone on Tuesdays from 3:00pm-8:00pm and Wednesdays from 12:30pm-8:00pm. He has been teaching for 31 years at Gard’s Music and 10 years as Faculty of Music and sax instruction at Mt. San Antonio College and Azusa Pacific University. As an artist, he had four original songs hit “Top 40” Smooth Jazz Radio between 2001 and 2005. He also is a writer and editor of music and audio for television. He owns and operates Flex Studios in Burbank with his wife/musician Mary Durst. Craig is also the director of music/worship at Light and Life Church in Long Beach for the past 25 years.
