Teacher Bio
Don Blasick (Upland): Donald attended the University of Redlands and California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He has studied privately with Franklin Sabin, Dr. Philip Rehfeldt, Loren Levee and Kalman Bloch. His wide variety of musical experience ranges from chamber music and orchestral work to pit orchestras for light opera performing on the clarinet, saxophone and other woodwinds. He also performs with jazz and swing bands for club dates. He has performed in Europe with various groups and toured China as a clarinetist with the Camerata Orchestra and Chorus of Los Angeles. He has been teaching woodwinds privately for 25 years, and coaches woodwinds at high school marching band camps. The instruments he teaches include: Clarinet, Saxophones, Flute, Oboe and Bassoon (Accordion too!).
