Teacher Bio

Juan Velasquez (Glendora & Rancho): Teaches brass instruments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:00pm-8:00pm. He has been playing trumpet for nearly 20 years and has performed around the US and Europe. Juan received his Bachelor’s degree from California State University Fullerton in Music and plans on becoming a middle school band director. Juan has studied trumpet with professional trumpet players such as Barry Perkins, Kye Palmer and Dave Evans. He has been coaching trumpet and brass sections at various high schools for the past 7 years.
