Tony Palkovic (Upland & Rancho): His extensive history with music has allowed him to release noteworthy albums, play with renowned musicians, and host a radio show. He first started playing the trumpet at the age of 9, and later, at the age of 12, started learning guitar. After studying music and film for a few months at Columbia College in Chicago, he transferred to the Berklee College of Music in Boston where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Composition. Over the years, Tony has released several studio albums and has been joined on stage by many talented musicians including Patrick Moraz, Hans Zurmuelen, Jimmy Haslip, Steve Weingert and others. His current band features the talented drummer Kofi Baker. He also plays in various conjugations (either as a guitar trio or quartet) and performs a mix of traditional jazz standards, Jazz-Rock, Latin, and Funk music.
